Days at Eagle Rock are exciting and filled with activities and choices. Each session, campers are placed in small groups based on their age and grade with at least one counselor. The Eagle Rock Day Camp program is designed with the age and development of each child in mind, providing a balance of athletic and non-athletic activities. Campers will have both scheduled activities, where they can try everything that Eagle Rock has to offer, as well as afternoon electives, where they can really focus on what interests them.
In the mornings, children will have the opportunity to try several activities with their groups, and by the end of a session, each camper will have tried each activity a few times. All campers visit the Waterfront each morning for alternating daily swimming and boating lessons.
After a nutritious and kid-friendly lunch with their group, most campers will have the opportunity to pick their own activities for the afternoon. For Elective, campers will pick from the many different options around camp. These Elective options include all of our regular activities, as well as some special alternatives that appear every now and then, like a Gaga tournament or slip-‘n’-sliding. In addition, more advanced elective options will be offered on some days. Examples may include dance classes, karate instruction, sports clinics and more.
Extended camp hours are available for your convenience. During this time, campers are supervised by counselors and participate in games and activities.
Before Care runs from 7:30 am to 9:00 am. After Care runs from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The cost of Before Care or After Care is $30 per week per child for either. If you choose both Before and After Care, the cost is $50 per week. Parents are responsible for transportation to and/or from camp if they opt to enroll their child in Extended Care.
