Camp Starts In

Daily Schedule

While the schedule may be changed to meet our varying needs, below is a sample of what a group may experience during a day at Eagle Rock Day Camp. In addition, we have outside entertainment, special theme days with camp-wide games, off-camp trips, our weekly showcase, and parents’ nights.

What’s Club and Elective?

Campers in grades 1-8 will attend elective and club every week.

Elective is an activity period of your child’s choosing.  At morning flagpole, our Program Area Counselors will make announcements sharing what their elective period will be working on that day. Using that information, group counselors will help your child choose where they would like to go.

Club is also a period of choice for your camper. However, Club is a weeklong commitment to attend that area. This gives our Program Area Counselors the opportunity for more in-depth and time consuming projects with kids that are passionate about that area of study. At the end of each week, performance-based Clubs such as Performing Arts, Music, and Gymnastics will be able to perform at our Friday showcase for all of camp.

For both of these periods, program areas will be split so that grades 2-4 select from half of our activity options and grades 5-8 select from the other half.  This means it may take a full two week session for your child to be able to attend a specific club.
