It is with broken hearts that we have had to make the decision to cease camp operations for Eagle Rock Day Camp this summer.  Unfortunately, due to rising costs of staff, supplies, transportation, the difficulty of hiring staff with the niche skills we require, and the emergence of so many options for local summer programming have made continuing camp unsustainable.  After many deliberations with our Board of Directors and Company Officers, we decided that the only solution is to close our gates.

We do understand that quality childcare for your family is a priority, and want to offer alternative options wherever possible.  We have always worked closely with our colleagues at our other camps, and are fully aligned in mission statement, priorities, and love of what we do.  They have extended an invitation for any of our families looking for a camp to enroll at their locations.   

We have some spaces still available at our residential camps, Camp Chinqueka for girls & Camp Awosting for boys.  Normally, they only host a sleepaway program, but they have launched a new initiative to support our Eagle Rock families in need of summer care for their children.  This will be for day campers, age six or older at both camps.  Additionally, we have held spaces at our other day camp, Boulder Ridge, and will be offering limited transportation from Eagle Rock to families who enroll there.  While we know that they will not replace your previous camp experience with us, our hope is to offer the same support, care, and great summer as we have already proven to provide.
